Transit Buddy models feature a dependable 72-volt electric drive system with an onboard smart charger. All Transit Buddy models come equipped with an automatic drive system that utilizes a simple Forward/Reverse selector, making operation safe, intuitive, and easy for virtually any driver.
Industry-Leading Efficiency
The MotoEV Transit Buddy delivers exceptional operating efficiency with a driving range of up to 150 miles per charge when equipped with the optional lithium battery and charger package. Charging costs average approximately one cent per mile, making it one of the most economical passenger transportation solutions available.
Every Transit Buddy is equipped with an intelligent onboard smart charger featuring microprocessor-controlled charging technology. Once the batteries reach a full charge, the charger automatically stops charging, helping maximize battery life while preventing overcharging.
Because the charger is permanently installed onboard, operators can conveniently opportunity charge the vehicle whenever a standard electrical outlet is available—during employee breaks, lunch periods, between shifts, or while parked—helping extend operating time throughout the day.
