Each Transit Buddy comes equipped with an intelligent onboard smart charger featuring advanced microprocessor-controlled charging technology. Once the batteries reach full charge, the charger automatically shuts off to maximize battery life while preventing overcharging.
Because the charger is permanently mounted onboard, operators can conveniently recharge the shuttle whenever a standard 110V, 20-amp dedicated outlet is available. Opportunity charging during employee breaks, lunch periods, shift changes, or while the vehicle is parked helps maximize uptime and extend daily operating range.
